To apply for support you will need to answer ‘yes’ to the following questions

• • Are you the widow or partner of a deceased merchant seafarer or fisher? Or are you a merchant seafarer or fisher who has had to give up work due to the death of a partner?

  • Do you have pre-school age children, children at school, students attending college or other forms of higher education?

  • Following the loss of your partner, are you experiencing or anticipating financial hardship, have applied for or in receipt of any means-tested state benefits?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to all of the above, please get in touch, either by email enquiries@rlsoi-uk.org or by sending us a message using this form. Alternatively, you can simply call us to get the ‘ball rolling’.

Each application will be considered on its own merits. Any award will be discretionary and subject to an ongoing evaluation process. We seek to ensure that the support offered is focussed on securing the best opportunities for your child.
